One Hour of sunlight energy is Enough to Provide Power for One Year

Solar energy is the technology that’s used to harness the sunlight and output useable energy. Currently, solar energy produces less than one-tenth of one percent of the global energy demand.

If all the sunlight that hits the Earth in a span of one hour could be stored in a gigantic battery that provides electricity to all 7 billion people, then that battery wouldn’t need to be charged for an entire year.
